Kawaii Yuki

Author: Lil Nezumi
Disclaimer 1: Love the characters, but I don’t own them. Enough said.

Disclaimer 2: I am very sorry to all the writers of the CHIBI stories in Yu Gi Oh, but it’s too cute an opportunity to mess with my favourite Fruits Basket pair. Your stories are inspiration.

Warning: shounen ai, yaoi (boy/boy romance) and if you don’t like it, lump it and don’t read this.

A/N: I have been reading quite a few CHIBI stories from the Yu Gi Oh section of the FICs and I thought that I would like to do one for Faruba. I always wanted to see if Kyo could look after a super cute Chibi Yuki.

CHAPTER 3

----------------------------

The next day was almost a disaster. It was raining the entire day and we all know what happens to our favorite cat on rainy days. He lacks energy and really has no resistance to anything around him, which was why Shigure almost passed away on this day.

Shigure had the audacity to inspire out little Yu-yu to play dress-up, cosplay and act out mini scenes devised from his own tiny chibi brain. It was only after all the kiddie morning programs had passed, of course.

Where did that leave our poor Kyo, well again you must remember lack energy and most time awareness too, he was like a rag doll that Yu-yu told Shigure what to put on him.

First there was a knight’s costume with tin foil helmet and shield. Next was the ‘Robin Hood’ outfit, complete with tights, bow and arrows. Then there was the clown outfit with red rubber nose and blue hair. Finally the last was a ‘Mommy’ outfit, loose fitting dress, granny shoes and purse.

That was when the rain was clearing up and Kyo woke up to several Polaroid pictures of him in the outfits, not to mention that his was still in the ‘Mommy’ looking outfit when chased Shigure out of the house.

“Damn dog, if you ever do that again I will make sure your editor knows every place you could possibly hide. Get back here you coward.” He yelled waving his fists and chasing him, till he couldn’t find him.

Kyo ran quickly back to the house to change and destroy the pictures one by one.

Yu-yu being a bright little tyke knew that if Kyo were to come back to the house his ‘pretty dress up pickies’ are bye-bye. So he took one of each, the ones he thought were the best and snuck them into him room under his mattress.

After Kyo had settled down for a bit, Yu-yu crawled into his lap and ask, “Ko, you angwey?” looking at Kyo with his big violet eyes, blinking cutely.

Kyo blinked back at the chibi and said, “No.”

“Weelly?”

“Really.”

“Weelly, weelly?”

Kyo looked at the tiny rat and said, “Really, really. Now do you want to do anything else, before Tohru-san gets home.”

“I wanna go fisssin’.”

“Fishing?”

“Un..hunh. De fisssess aways come ou’ afta da wain.”

“Well there are no places to fish around here,” Kyo stated matter of factly.

“Sniff, sniff...,” was followed by large drops of water onto Kyo’s hands.

Kyo rolled his eyes, “I’ve never known you to cry so much he said.” Thinking for a bit he thought of something that might work. He moved the chibi onto the couch cushion and said, “Wait here.”

He went into Shigure’s study for the items he would need. String, large paper clips, and any loose change he found lying around and glue. The he went to his room and Yuki’s room to look for loose change. Finally he went into the kitchen for two refrigerator magnets.

Going outside he put together two simple fishing poles, with the string, paper clip to look like a shiny hook and the frig magnets were glued on the ends of the hooks.

He went back into the living and saw the Yuki was still waiting for him on the couch. He lifted two of the cushions onto the third and then spread the loose change onto the area where the cushions usually are.

He sat on the edge of the couch and place Yuki between his legs to brace him from falling, place one of the fishing poles in the chibi’s hands and said, “Here.”

“Whut dis?” he asked uber cutely.

“It’s a fishing pole. This is what is known as fishing for loose change. You’re always able to catch them and here’s a glass jar for you to keep them safe.”

Yuki grinned hugely at his favourite cat, “Ten-Q, Ko. You gonna fiss too.”

“Yep. See I have my own fishing pole. Now let’s see if we can catch enough to make Tohru-san happy. OK?”

“Kay,” Yuki concentrated with all his might and caught one coin after another.

Kyo pretended to fish poorly and make a fuss about how much better a fisherman Yuki was, causing the chibi to do the unthinkable. He turned around and taught Kyo how to catch the loose change.

They were having blast for about a good hour, during which time Tohru came back and saw what they were doing. Holding a camera up, asked if it was OK with Kyo to take a few pictures. She got quite a few good ones. Then went to prepare dinner for the evening.

They were sitting around the Kotatsu when Tohru brought up the fact that she ran into Ayame and said that he was looking forward to Kyo brining Yuki to the shop on the following day. “I told him that tomorrow you would be taking Yuki to the main street fair.”

“Main street fair?” Kyo asked.

“Yes. It’s like a mini carnival fair on Main Street. There are games, rides, balloons and prizes too,” she said. “I promised to go with Uo-chan and Hana-chan. Hana-chan told Uo about you and Yu-yu and they both thought that you should bring him.” Kyo face darkened. “I hope your not angry with me, I just thought you like to take him out somewhere.”

The way she looked at Kyo sealed his fate. Tomorrow they would all set out for the Street Fair.
